This serrated Pinto style point is made from Nevada 'Hole in the Wall' agate. The material kind of reminds me of fossilized pale lemon meringue. Its much more yellow in hue than the pics show for some reason. This is hard stuff to come by as there is a claim on it and its in country so remote that they say its not the end of the world but you can see if from there! This is a dart point style common in SE Oregon and Northern Nevada's great basin region. |
