About me - Jesse CoxMy name is Jesse Cox and I grew up on several different ranches from Wyoming to New Mexico. I cannot remember when or where I saw my first point but ever since I have been fascinated and started trying to make them at about age eight. However, it was not until age thirteen that I finally met up with a good knapper when my family moved to Southern Colorado that I actually learned to knap. I was taught to use aboriginal tools and techniques and that is what I have stuck with. Furthermore my main interest is accurate replicas of High Plains Paleo point types using correct material types for various geographical areas. I can do any type of point but I mainly concentrate on the Paleo types since they are much more challenging to manufacture accurately, and they are most often the kind of point I'm able to view in my area. Also, I often enjoy discussing with archaeologists different theories of lithic technology. If you have something special in mind that you want made out of a certain type material contact me, I'm a sucker for a good challenge. I currently reside in Southeast Colorado.
