About me
- Harold Elam
Hello, I am Harold Elam. I live in southwestern Ohio and I have been
flintknapping for about 11 years. I’ve always enjoyed hunting and being
outdoors. I started walking the local farm fields collecting artifacts, which
sparked my interest in flint points and flintknapping. Copper is my favorite
tool to work with, but I started out using primarily antler. My favorite
materials to work with are Flint Ridge flint (OH), Carter Caves flint (KY), and
Indiana hornstone. I also enjoy making antler handle knives with obsidian
blades. Throughout the summer I try to attend local knap-ins and display my
work.
You can commission a special point to be made by me, or purchase any point in
my gallery.
