The three points on the left are novaculite & the one on the right is flint ridge flint   I use turkey feathers. They are attached with hide glue and deer sinew.

Novcaulite - I rather like this type of point. I find many of them in the western part of the state I live in [Maine] although the ones I am finding are not notched. Halting them with sinew makes them stronger.

Flint Ridge Flint - It is one of the larger points that I use with a with to thickness ratio of 1:8.

Natural pigments are used in painting the shafts.  

I strive for consistency in creating my arrows. Blade size and thickness are critical to accurate flight.

The shafts of my arrows are 30in. long. I have based there design on some of the early europian explorers notes on the arrows that were uesd in the maine/mass.area in the early 1500's.
