White Skin Deer Dance Blades

This matched pair of Ceremonial blades replicates the large blades used by the Native Americans of Northern California in the White Skin Deer Dance Ceremony. An annual event held in the fall to help assure a bountiful year to come. All percussion flaked from Red/Brown Obsidian from Glass Buttes Oregon.

A matched pair of Ceremonial blades made from multi - colored Brown and Black Obsidian. Nice percussion flaking with a very straight and sharp pressure flaked edge. These blades a basically identical.

A finely crafted and aesthetically pleasing knife by Cole. The blade is semi-translucent Glass Buttes Rainbow Obsidian, well fitted to the mule deer guard and handle. Wrapped with crafters sinew, it is well balanced and sits firmly in its stand. I would be happy to answer any questions and/or send more photos from different angles.

Texas flint and Deer Antler Knife

Broken Lance Sculpture
     Total height:  20"   Total width: 16"  Base: 11" x 7"
     Total length of lance: 19 1/2"  Blade length: 11"
An interesting free standing sculpture. The base is a slab of dark green soapstone from central Washington State. It supports a buffalo shoulder blade as well as several buffalo vertebrae. The removable "broken lance" is made from translucent Obsidian and hafted with buffalo rawhide. This piece looks very old and the translucent blade is stunning when lit from behind. I will be happy to answer any questions and/or send detailed photos from different angles.

Description: The handle of this knife is polished Stellar sea Cow rib, boasting a translucent Obsidian blade. The guard is mammoth ivory, well fitted and etched around the edges. The knife sits nicely on the mammoth (bark) ivory base. I'm more than happy to answer any questions and/or send descriptive photos.

A nice, sleek, Ceremonial Blade. Chipped from Reddish Brown Obsidian. This beauty shows excellent percussion as well as pressure flaking. The edge is very straight and sharp.

Wenatchee Style Clovis point percussion flaked and fluted with very little pressure retouch. Made from a beautiful piece of midnight Lace Obsidian quarried at glass buttes Oregon. Black with a bit of Orange, this blade has
excellent translucency as well as lace within when held to the light. Large percussion flakes included.

Ceremonial Obsidian Bi-pointed Blade made from translucent black obsidian. This blades measures 11 1/4"x1 5/8" and averages less than 1/4"thick. nice percussion flaking as well as a straight, sharp pressure flaked edge.
