great symmetry. A must for those who collect for color and workmanship. |

Clovis made from raw Missouri Reeds Springs/Boone chert. Slight propeller
twist due to raw material which gives the allure that it was resharpened.

An art Clovis made from heat
treated Tennessee Ft. Payne. It has very nice patterned collateral pressure
flaking done on a percussion flaked preform. The flute were done on a jig
but didn't come out like I really wanted them to. This point also has a hole
in one of the ears where a fossil was. |

This is a nice Kirk style point made from heat treated
Ft. Payne with an interesting patter and a healed
crack going from side to side and face to face. Very
unique point. 2 3/4" long by 1 3/4" wide. |

This is one of my best Clovis' to date. Made from heat
treated buckskin color Edwards. This is probably the thinnest Clovis I have
done with excellent flutes done by direct percussion. Made like
the old ones; flutes early then the rest of the percussion flake followed by
pressure retouch and grinding. Modern knapped Art collectors check this one
out. |

This is a very true to type Clovis replica made from
raw Green and Black New York Normanskill flint. My
first point made of this material and I am very satisfied with the point and
the material. Again,
knapped as the old ones were; flutes early, followed by a final pass of
percussion flakes, and finally the pressure retouch and grinding. |
