Here's a dovetail made from very unusually colored creek pebble burlington chert that looks so much like the highest quality flint ridge chert that I half wondered if I'd had this piece of flint in the wrong bucket. I've had this biface sitting around for quite some time just waiting for the right time to finish it. It is in my keeper case so I've put a "parting" price on this........knappers sometimes do this on thier very best work that they don't want to sell, but will part with it for a premium dollar. If you want some of my best work that is usually locked away in my personal collection, now is your rare chance. Think the price is too high? That's ok, I'll keep this one. Thanks for looking |
