I build my cases out of reclaimed barn wood. All cases except the 5 X 7 have
90-degree hinges. The 90-degree hinge holds the lid open without having to hold
on to it or prop it. All cases have multiple layers of foam to enable you to
take a layer out to accommodate thick items. I use felt on top of the foam and
it fits against the glass so thin items will not slide around in the case. I
seal the bottom of the cases with craft paper and use felt pads on the bottom
corners. The source of the wood as well as type and finish is documented on the
bottom of the case. All measurements are outside dimensions.
