This colorful eccentric is one of my personal designs that incorporates the Mayan face often used in their original eccentrics with the tail that is a trade mark of many of my eccentrics. It all comes together in a piece I refer to as a Quetzalcoatl eccentric. Quetzalcoatl was the Mesoamerican deity that may have originated from one of their historical leaders, and is also know as the winged serpent. Each of these pieces that I have flintknapped over the years is unique unto itself, and is a creative work of art. Enjoy.
