This piece is a one of a kind and one that I put a lot of work into, actually about 4 hrs total.... This tomahawk measures right at 21" long with a blade measuring 8" X 2 3/8" ... The blade was percussion knapped from Keokut chert and lashed to the handle with wet rawhide , the handle is carved from maple and covered with deer skin and has a natural cordage hand grip,,, brass tacks and a horse hair scalp on the end,, the whole piece was aged to look old.......... Shipping and Insurance is included in the price and it may seem high but I guarantee you will be pleased with the purchase of this piece. |
