This is an incredibly beautiful artistic piece that is part of the style that I have developed with flintknapping eccentrics. As with all of my flintknapped pieces, it is signed and dated. The banded obsidian only adds to its appeal and uniqueness. I flake a limited number of these, and never duplicate one. Each one unfolds from the stone as I am chipping, and is rarely planned out. I release what I feel is in the stone itself!
