This is a close copy of the type of glass points Ishi made when he came out of the wilds in 1911 and lived in San Francisco. While he didn't hunt with this style Wintu point in his home land, he did often make this style point when he was demonstrating knapping for visitors at the museum. Hopefully, he'd approve of this one. I even imitated the type of expanding notches he made. |
