hi all,I just finished up this small but very sweet little gem pt. made from local agate just 5 miles up the hill.It's been found only in smaller pieces,so far.It's very much like pidgeon blood agate,even with the rare stuffed olive's ,(Like in this one near base),but,comes from here,over 100 miles away,so,a new find ? >looking for main deposit,but private land).It is much softer & easier to work,and ,very hard to find.No one has knapped this since the indians did,this one is only my 3 rd one..A real Nice gem pt.,2 5/8 x 3/4 wide. thank you ! > The pics are poor (almost dark) so, I will get some better ones 1st thing tommorrow. |
