This is one of those pieces that I have held on to for a long while now trying to decide if I wish to sell it or not. It is a high quality Mahogany Obsidian blade hafted to a whitetail antler with traditional Pine Pitch Glue and hand twisted natural fiber cord. This is one of those knives that will easily skin your next deer or sit on the fireplace mantle. However you choose to enjoy it is up to you.
The sheath is made of two pieces of fine natural suede leather hand sewn with natural suede leather cord. The bead work on the flap has a traditional look to it, and the belt loop on the back will accommodate most any belt.
I have taken the liberty to include two photos of the blade before it was hafted to show the fine color and quality of the Obsidian. |
