The Mayans are well known for the eccentrics that they flintknapped, but today, few flintknappers create these artistic pieces. I have knapped this exquisite piece from obsidian in the tradition of the old Mayan work , but I have added my own style to this lithic art. As with all of my stone work, it has been signed and dated using a diamond tipped scribe.
