Even though these have been popular, I have only knapped a few of them over the years.
The shape and size is anatomically correct (even though there is a great fluctuation in the size of grizzly bear claws). I flintknapped it using an original grizzly bear claw for my model. The bit of banding in the obsidian is a nice touch, and reminds me of banding that can be present in some original bear claws.
This lithic art would be great as a collection piece, a spiritual piece, or even as part of some jewelry.
