This necklace almost glows with a jelly like opalescence. The arrowhead takes on different colors depending on its lighting and background. Worn against black clothing it displays my favorite, a transparent, opalescent blue!
The arrowhead itself, measures 1 & 11/16" by 3/4". After flintknapping this piece, I signed and dated it with a diamond tipped scribe. The wire wrap, and clasp are sterling silver (adding to its value), and the bail and chain are silver plated. I combined faceted, opalescent glass beads with mottled slate blue glass beads to complement the arrowhead. It is truly an artistic piece of jewelry that I am proud of. Enjoy!
