The Debert or Gainy Clovis point is a Northeastern type found from the Southeast on up into Canada. It's the same point type found on the Vail Site in Maine. This point is par for what the real artifacts look like. It's made from Esopus Chert of Eastern NY. Proper abrading and polishing have been done to the base as well as a false patina application to the whole point to give it an old look. Flutes run about 1/3 of the way on both sides. |
