This is a Crump Lake style serrated desert Elko point made of bright red Oregon Sunset Jasper. These type of points have actually been found around Crump Lake OR in Warner Valley and often are wickedly serrated with needle tips, no doubt used on big game with atlatl darts. This one has deep notches much like the old originals. It is more red than the digital pic shows. |
