Originally this glass was referred to as Mosaic Glass, but was renamed Millefiori Glass in the mid 1800's. Millefiori translates from Italian to "thousand flowers". Beads were made from it as far back as the 1600's!
The ruby red glass in this arrowhead is beautifully contrasted by the many translucent white, yellow, and blue flowers within it. It is a great collectible piece from a material that you rarely see flintknapped.
