Saber tooth Spirit carved on a genuine black bear jaw, I carved it in such a manner the bear tooth is also the cats tooth, the nostril hole and the eye pupil are natural holes in the jaw where the muscles attacthed to the bone. I also carved a saw tooth pattern, on the other side I carved a erupting valcano, lava flowing into the teeth. I hafted the blade by carving a socket and recessing the blade into it on the top and back, I used a special blend epoxy pitch to secure the blade along with wrapping of sinew. hanging below the jaw are genuine knuckle bones and claw bones from black bear as well, the small spacer beads are mammoth bone Th3e over all length of the knife is 11-1/2 inches, The blade was lapidary made by artist Kenny hull from gold sheen mahogany obsidian. The knife feels comfortable in both left or right hand and would make a super addition to any collection. also not pictured is a FREE support stand ! and FREE shipping as well.
