I fashioned this hunting-style knife with a tremendous “worm-groove’ stag handle – dyed to red. A gold-tone Indian head penny has been inlaid into the deer horn. A hand knapped obsidian blade is hafted solidly & wrapped in fine sinew. All is buffed & finished off to a nice luster. I’ve mated the knife to a tasseled buckskin-type sheath, and a Kokopelli trinket rounds out the handsome combo. Look good at that next mountain man rendezvous or camping trip. (note: blade is fairly sharp, but not for heavy skinning work). Knife is 9 ¾” long. (Please add $6.00 for shipping & insurance). |
