This is an awesome wineglass style tube pipe. The name wineglass was given to these pipes by modern day collectors, for obvious reasons. This style tube pipe highlighted the skills of the early pipe carvers. Many show slender tapered lines in amazingly long pipes, many made from steatite. This tube pipe is carved from very dark steatite, and is impressive in length, approximately 9 inches long. The bowl is conically drilled with thin walls and the mouth piece is flared. There is a crystalline inclusion in the stone right where the bowl begins to flare.
