Dan Long's Rocks

My knapping career started over 25 years ago using flakes of my local (and favourite) Onondaga chert from nearby fields. I live in Niagara Falls, Canada. Although I'll work most anything, my preferred materials are still the tougher, unheated rock we get here in the northeast.
In the last few years I've branched out into ground stone tools; axes, adzes, celts, discoidals, plummets, bird and bannerstones, etc. It's very different from knapping and some of the rock is absolutely spectacular!
