My lithic art work falls in the catagory of ground stone tools, weapons, and ceremonial reproductions, such as pipes, axes, and special ceremonial objects. We recreate southwestern style pipes as well as hopwell curved base pipes, and I incorporate some of my own personal styles into some of the pipe designs. We basically use the sacred pipestone and a variety of soapstones to make most of the pipes. The axes come in a variety of styles,such as monolithic axes ,southwesten double pointed ends axes, michigan barbed axes, and trophy axes, etc. We do a variety of hafted axes as well as ceremonial maces,pendants ,celts, and gorgets. I have recently incorporated a few more items such as hafted and decorated spears, stemmed pipes and soon hope to be bringing a variety of different styles of knapped points onto the site, as well as a selection of bannerstones in a variety of styles, birdstones, and discodials. I have been a point collector myself for 35 years and have always been really fascinated with native american artifacts. Please know that all items are reproductions even though some of the stone items may look to be very old from time to time due to a particular type of stone being used. We are proud to sell reproductions because everyone cannot own an original plus the fact that we are really not even remotely into selling ancient artifacts. There were only so many made. We know there are organizations that are down on people who do reproductions because some of these folks have been known to try to sell off reproductions as originals in some cases. Certain items we recreate look to be very old from time to time,which make them extremely nice to add to collections of an ancient origin. We want you folks to know that the items we offer are reproductions and we are very proud to be able to make and sell reproductions in order to help preserve this particular area of intrest of the native culture here on turtle island and to also supply museums, as well as private collectors with artifact reproductions. The majority of the items marked sold can readily be reproduced.
